生物课程是针对没有接触过生物学科,或者接触甚少,但对生命科学充满兴趣的学生设置的。因此生物的课程内容从最基本的细胞学和生化反应来解释细胞工作的原理,从DNA、自然选择理论以及器官组织和环境的互动来解释传承和进化,并辅以观察和实验的科学研究方法。生物专业是医药方向的必修课,但是作为一门难度较高的理科,在其他名牌大学的其他专业申请时也会产生非常积极的作用。
