On Tuesday this week, many of our Junior School and Senior School students had the opportunity to work with theamazing Tiger Taiko performers from Dulwich College Suzhou. The visiting senior students spent all day running workshops with our students, teaching the techniques of Japanese Taiko Drumming.
Our students very much enjoyed their time working with the drummers from Suzhou and it was lovely to see the cross-college interactions taking place. The highlight for many was watching the Tiger Taiko’s performance in our Junior School Music Maestros assembly. Our students were blown away and now want to be Taiko Masters themselves!
本周二，我校小学及中学部的多名同学有幸与来自苏州德威学校的“Tiger”太鼓队进行合作。来访的客人们为中学部学生，他们花了一整天的时间与我校同学一起进行研讨，并教授日本太鼓表演技巧。大家与来自苏州的鼓手们一起度过了十分愉快的时光，我们也很高兴地看到两校间的跨校互动。对很多人来说，此次活动的亮点是在小学部“音乐大师会”上观看“Tiger”所带来的太鼓表演。同学们惊艳于鼓手们的精彩演出，现在他们也想成为太鼓大师！
