Our second SAS Gala for the Arts was on March 2 and welcomed nearly 500 SAS parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends - all to support our students and raise money for theArtists in Residence program. The “moonlight masquerade” themed event included a fashion show of Grace Chen's designs worn by SAS parents and students, a beautiful performance by the Slate Dance Company featuring our SAS student dancers and musicians, and a live auction.
三月二号，我们的第二届艺术盛典盛大启幕。当晚，上海美国学校500位学生家长、教职员工、校友和社会友好人士到场为我们的学生加油助威，为我们的“艺术家驻场”项目募集资金。艺术盛典以化装舞会的形式举行，活动精彩纷呈，包括由上海美国学校家长和学生担任模特的Grace Chen时装秀、由上海美国学校学生舞蹈家和音乐家倾情奉献的Slate Dance Company演出以及一场现场拍卖会。
By the end of the night we surpassed our goal and raised more than 1.7 million RMB to support visual and performing arts at Shanghai American School. And it was really fun too.
活动当晚，我们超额完成了我们的目标，为上海美国学校的艺术项目募集资金超过人民币170万元。大家也都玩得非常尽兴。
